SENIOR DEPUTY FOR LEGISLATION, EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
Dr. Porsha Cropper serves as Senior Deputy for Education, Workforce Development and Legislation, and is responsible for policy, program and advocacy related to early childhood and K-12 education and workforce development initiatives. She previously served as the Assistant Senior Deputy of Education and Human Development for then-Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas. Prior to that, she worked at Abt Associates as an Associate Scientist. Porsha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Government and Social Policy from Harvard University.
