After more than three years, and in collaboration with the Leimert Park Merchants and community stakeholders, Leimert Park Plaza is re-opening this Saturday, June 19th, at 11 a.m.
Join Councilmember Mark Ridley-Thomas, DJ Qwess Coast, and community members in a grand re-opening ceremony of this beloved community asset. The ceremony will feature a performance of the S.H.I.N.E. Muwasi Drum Circle in honor of this long-awaited occasion and the spirit of Juneteenth.
This event is open to the public and free for all families to attend. We look forward to seeing you this weekend. Happy Juneteenth!
